Call
for papers
The
Himalayan studies Journal invites research papers for its forthcoming
issues. The research findings need to be relevant to the Himalayan
region. Research papers on the Indian states in the Himalayan
region as well as on other countries in the Himalayan region can
be submitted to be considered for publication. Also research studies
which make a comparative analysis between the Himalayan region
and other regions/areas are welcome. Submissions are welcome in,
though not limited to the following thematic areas:
- Mountain
Development
- Ecology
and Environment
- Vulnerability
of the Himalayan Environment
- Science,
Spirituality and Culture
- Social
and economic issues
- Development
in agriculture, industry, and infrastructure
- Growth
of technology in rural and urban areas
Submissions should be addressed and submitted to the Director/Editor,
Institute of Integrated Himalayan Studies, H. P. University Shimla
and should reach the institute latest by 30th May, 2008.
