A three-day-long conference on Himalayan Environment: Issues and Challenges, was organized by the Institute of Integrated Himalayan Studies (IIHS), Himachal Pradesh University and Mountain Forum Himalayan from 22-24th March, 2010.

Recent accolades & accomplishments of Research Staff
Prof. S. P. Bansal, Director of the Institute, attended Second International Tourism Congress on “Contemporary Tourism: Practices and Innovations” held at Dubai from 10th to 13th September, 2010. During the conference he chaired the technical session on Tourism Marketing Issues.
